Britain’s youngest convicted female paedophile is preparing to walk free from prison this month.

Sophie Elms, who admitted 16 horrific sexual offences against children as young as two in Wiltshire, was previously recalled after breaching her strict licence conditions.

She was jailed for almost eight years in 2019 when she was just 18 and studying childcare at college.

The devastating impact on the young victims and their loved ones remains unimaginable, leaving families to endure a lifetime of pain from these atrocious crimes.

Parents and community members are now learning that Elms, from Swindon, will soon be back on the streets. Officials promise she will be monitored under the strict conditions of the sex offenders register.
