Middlesbrough man subject to court orders following history of domestic abuse allegations

Serious concerns have been raised over a Middlesbrough man following a history of alleged domestic abuse incidents, court orders, and police involvement spanning several years.

Christopher Owen, of Middlesbrough, has been the subject of multiple legal actions, including non-molestation orders granted by the Family Court. These orders prohibit him from contacting, harassing, threatening or approaching the protected individual, as well as restricting his behaviour both in person and online.

The most recent order is set to remain in force until 2027.

Further concerns have been documented detailing a pattern of alleged abusive behaviour, including threats, intimidation, and repeated unwanted contact. Historical information also references a serious incident in which a phone charger was allegedly used to assault a victim around the neck.

In addition, police involvement has included the issuing of a Domestic Violence Protection Notice (DVPN).

Authorities have stated that the case remains under review.
