East Lothian radio presenter remanded in custody after alleged bail breach
An East Lothian radio presenter has been remanded in custody after allegedly breaching court-imposed bail conditions while awaiting sentence for sexual offences.
Craig Gordon, 49, of High Street, Tranent, appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court after being accused of breaching the conditions of his bail. He was remanded in custody and is due to appear in court again at a later date.
The development comes after Gordon pleaded guilty to a series of sexual offences committed between 10 July 2022 and 8 September 2025.
At an earlier hearing, the court heard Gordon admitted secretly recording intimate images of women without their knowledge or consent. The offences included photographing one woman’s buttocks as he walked behind her in public and recording images beneath the clothing of another woman while she was intoxicated and asleep on a bus.
Police later searched Gordon’s home, where officers found indecent images of children, including Category A material. He also admitted participating in Telegram conversations in which child sexual abuse material was discussed and shared.
Gordon has worked as a presenter with community radio stations East Coast FM and Saltire FM and has also appeared on the online football podcast The Non-League Radio Show. He is also employed as a security worker.
Following his guilty pleas, Gordon was made subject to the sex offenders register. Sentencing has been deferred, with the court considering a custodial sentence.
His latest court appearance related to an alleged breach of bail conditions imposed pending sentence. Proceedings in relation to that alleged breach remain ongoing.
