❌RUTH ANNE JENNINGS – MAGHERA, NORTHERN ISLAND❌
A woman who was jailed for subjecting her young son to repeated abuse, including forcing him to eat cat faeces is active on Facebook, ranting about how she is the victim.
She also lists herself as a ‘stay at home parent’ and clearly has access to other young children.
Last year, Ruth Anne Jennings, 53, of Maghera, was sentenced after pleading guilty to three counts of assaulting her son over a four year period beginning when he was just nine
Jennings’ then-partner, Brian McMaster, 41, of Ballymena- was also sentenced to six months for his part in abusing and attacking the young boy
On one occasion, his mother became angry and forced his head into a cat litter tray.
The victim said; “She dragged me in there and threw me onto the floor and started shoving cat litter and lifting bits with pee and poo on it and shoving it into my mouth.”
During another terrifying incident, she slashed him on the chest with a Stanley knife, and on another occasion threw a pair of scissors at him, cutting his arm.
Bully McMaster would grab Jamie’s hand and squeeze it so tightly that he would be forced to the ground. He also struck him on the genitals and laughed when Jamie asked him to stop.
The house smelled of animal excrement—smells that lingered on the victims clothes, particularly on his school uniform, forcing him to go to school smelling of faeces and urine.
Mould was everywhere in the house, including some growing on his bed and in the bath which was filled with stinking unwashed clothes.
Rarely, did the young victim get a proper meal and lived off scraps he could find in bins.
