A Sarah’s Law application is an absolute must before considering any involvement with this individual as he is a convicted paedophile who has recently re-offended despite already being subject of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).

A recent search of his home address by Police uncovered a mobile phone he had failed to declare/register.

Further analysis confirmed Stephenson to be in possession of multiple images/videos of child sexual abuse, including 27 in Category A, the most serious.

He was remanded in custody

SEX OFFENDER FOUND WITH CHILD ABUSE IMAGES IN LOWESTOFT

A sex offender was found with child abuse images and an undeclared phone months into a five year protection order.

Brandon Stephenson, 26, also installed image sharing online cloud accounts and the dropbox app despite being prohibited by a sexual harm prevention order (SHPO) made at Great Yarmouth Magistrates’ Court.

An inspection of his home address on May 20 by police public protection officers found a new mobile phone that he had failed to register.

Analysis of seized devices and online accounts found he had 27 images and videos of child sexual abuse classified as category A, the most serious.

The 26-year-old, who works as a chef, also had 20 category B images and 22 category C.

Stephenson, of Milton Road East in Lowestoft, pleaded guilty at Norwich Magistrates’ Court to possession of indecent images and breaches of a SHPO and failing to comply with sex offender notification requirements.

Magistrates were told he had “continued to offend and put vulnerable victims at risk despite being subject to a five year order”.

He was remanded to prison until a sentencing hearing at Ipswich Crown Court on June 22.
