A healthcare assistant has narrowly avoided jail after ‘pleasuring’ a dementia-stricken OAP in their nursing home while washing him – and joking about his “big one”.
Donna Gillet, 43, grabbed the 77-year old man’s genitals as a shocked junior colleague looked on in horror, quipped about the size of his manhood and asked if he “liked women with big bums?”
Chester Crown Court heard when he replied “yeah” Gillet, of Winsford, Cheshire, let him touch her bottom – later making a comment about having just been “groped.” The mother-of-two was later fired and reported to police after the horrified colleague told senior staff about the encounter. She subsequently admitted “engaging in sexual activity with a mentally disordered male.”
Last Friday she was sentenced to a three month-suspended sentence, ordered to complete 200 hours of unpaid work and 20 days of rehabilitation activity. She was also made to sign the Sex Offenders Register for seven years and was banned from working with children for the rest of her life.
The patient, a father-of-one who we cannot name for legal reasons, has since passed away.
