A paedophile was seen laughing and joking as he walked free from court with a suspended sentence.
Simon Byrne of Plymouth appeared at court where he admitted taking, possessing and distributing indecent images of children.
The court was told that Byrne, had in his possession images and videos covering all levels of indecency including category A showing the rape and torture of girls and boys.
– Three counts of possession of indecent images of children
– One count of taking an indecent images of children
– One count of distributing indecent images of children
The judge handed him 22 months imprisonment suspended for 24 months.
To attend 24 months supervision with probation and complete 30 rehabilitation activity requirement days
To register as a sex offender for 10 years
