Woolwich Man Given Probation After Guilty Plea to Assault and Stalking Charges
A man from the Woolwich/Plumstead area has been sentenced after pleading guilty to a series of domestic-related offences.
Jack Barnes appeared before the court charged with two counts of criminal damage to property valued under £5,000, two counts of assault by beating, and one count of stalking involving fear of violence.
Court records indicate that publication restrictions applied to the case.
Barnes entered guilty pleas to the offences. He was sentenced in 2025 to an 18-month community order (probation). The court heard he had already spent time on remand, which was taken into account during sentencing.
In addition to the probation order, the court imposed a five-year restraining order designed to protect the victim.
