Telford Man Pleads Guilty to Rape and Other Serious Offences
Shrewsbury Crown Court has confirmed that guilty pleas have been entered in a serious criminal case involving multiple women.
On 28 October 2025, Joshua George Turner admitted to the following offences:
• Controlling or coercive behaviour in an intimate or family relationship – guilty
• Grievous bodily harm with intent – plea changed to guilty for the lesser offence of Section 20 wounding
• Rape – guilty
The case is now listed for sentencing on 2 February 2026 at Shrewsbury Crown Court.
Turner has been remanded in custody ahead of sentencing.
